Tile Pro Bluetooth Tracker Review

Update: The Tile Pro's range is now 400 feet, after a recent upgrade from the company.

Tile is one of my favorite Bluetooth tracker companies, and the #TilePro is their latest creation. It has an impressive 400-foot range, the highest range I’ve seen from a Bluetooth tracker.

Plus, the #TilePro has replaceable batteries, so you won’t have to buy a whole new tracker after the batteries run out in a year. It also has integrations with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for some convenient vocal commands. Did I mention its 128-decibel siren, about as loud as peak stadium crowd noise?

With so many awesome features, it’s no big surprise that Tile dominates 80% of the U.S market for Bluetooth trackers. That’ll come in handy if you are more than 400 feet away from the Tile Pro, as you’ll be able to depend on other Tile users through Community Find. Just mark your Tile Pro and wait for someone with a Tile app to walk into its range.

This is a review of a product that tracks that wasn't tested on the street to see how well, and how far, it tracks. Without an actual test (not one where I just sit at my desk), how can you trust the review? He is just spewing specs from the manufacturer. Tile says the Tile Pro has a 400ft range. He says 300. But in my test, even the 300ft is a false claim--more like 150-200 feet. He gets the devices for free, and on orders through affiliate program, he gets paid, so he has an incentive to give positive reviews.
The review also discusses price--but he says nothing about how FOUR Tile Pro's can be purchased for LESS than $50 bucks on most days.
