Make sure to get oak cubes from a beer or wine making supply! Hardware stores likely have pressure treated oak cubes which is not food safe! You could also use oak chips, but they will have a stronger flavor.

What if I mixed it in a 750ml bottle, with 95ml of 190 proof grain alcohol? This would make 12% of the volume of the bottle alcohol. Do you think this would make a convincing wine? (I’m sure make a wine would also make a convincing wine, but I’m curious what you think of this idea)

Cool. I do love red wine...it would be handy sometimes, to have an non-alcoholic alternative with the same flavor profile.
