It came up with a creepypasta in 20 minutes. Here's how it goes:

"My name is Bob. One day, I was playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It was my favorite of the original trilogy, and I had beaten it numerous times. This time, I booted up a new save file, like always. I chose Sonic and Tails because those are the characters I usually play with. The opening cutscenes was normal up until when Knuckles Punched Sonic. Normally, the Chaos Emeralds would be knocked out of Sonic. However, blood flew from the hedgehog's face, and he lied on the ground, lifeless. The game continued, but I was now playing as Tails. I played through both Acts of Angel Island normally. But when I got to the Zone transition cutscene, Knuckles jumped off of the ledge and punched Tails in the head instead of pressing the button to blow up the bridge and send you to Hydrocity. Once again blood flew from the fox, and he lied on the ground, dead. After that, the game crashed. I reset the console, but for some reason, despite Sonic 3 being plugged into Sonic and Knuckles, the game brought up the Sonic and Knuckles title screen. Knuckles had a sinister look on his face, while Sonic was scared. I tried to choose Knuckles, since I didn't usually play as him, but I couldn't. It's like he was resisting me. Finally, I chose Sonic. I went through Mushroom Hill Act One normally, but once I got to the Act transition, Knuckles punched down the wall blocking him from Sonic, and then proceeded to beat Sonic to death. He then looked at the screen and chuckled. The screen cut to black, then the try again screen that you see at the end of the game appeared. But instead of juggling the Chaos Emeralds, Robotnik was tossing up the limbs and heads of Sonic and Tails. The screen once again cut to Black, and text appeared, reading ' I've done it, master. I've done what you asked, ' said Knuckles. 'Splendid! Now no one will get in my way. Oh, and make sure no one sees this. If they do, kill them at all costs!' Said Robotnik. I am still alive, but I live in constant fear, "

I have a creepy pasta I made up rn it’s called overran: the story starts with the player booting up the original sonic 1 after playing sonic generations wanting some nostalgia, as it boots up he hears the “sega!” As normal and everything is normal untill he starts playing, sonic seems slower the player is confused but keeps playing “oh it must be a glitch” he says as he tries to restart the game it restarts but the title is weird sonic looks tired and is sweating he starts the game again but sonic is even slower “what is happening” the player says as he keeps playing he sees the first badnik he tries to jump but he can’t sonic then says “please, give me a break” the player ignored sonic and kept playing he ran into the badnik since he had rings he could just run past and he kept doing this method to the end of the level but on the next level it was green hill but it was a strate line, sonic wouldent budge, the player kept pressing harder to get sonic to move and eventually he got him to move he ran in the straight line as he ran his legs started to tremble and he started to fall down sonics legs got bloodier and bloodier, untill it was just flesh, Sonics legs flew off and sonic fell on the ground. The player tried to shut down the game but when he did all the screen said was, is this what you wanted? Pls like to get him to show this!

Fun Fact: The Tails Doll Curse came from a meme from 2005 which was made to scare people for fun. But in 2012 someone made a creepypasta version of it which caused people to take it way too serious, he is like the Weegee of the Sonic characters.

the first variation i heard of Sonic.exe's story is the same as the one in this video, but Tom takes a nap after Tails and Knuckles, but is interrupted by a nightmare where Tails and Knuckles are saying things like "you let us die!" or "you betrayed us!" which caused him to wake up and continue at Robotnik, after the fat doctor's death he tries getting the disk out of his computer, but hears from behind him the same voice he heard in the game, saying "try to keep this interesting for me, Tom!" where he turns around and finds the bloody Sonic plush sitting on his bed
