I ended up trying to install on my phone too, then the steps in the instructions worked. So I was able to install on mt tablet again and there was my old town back in all it's glory. ❤

How do i get the invite code when I can't find the town?

I had gotten a new tablet and phone, ( no longer had my older ones)
At first I installed township on my new tablet, no matter what directions I followed I couldn't get my old town back.
Then I uninstalled it from my new tablet.
Then I thought "Well maybe I'll try it on my new phone"
When I did those instructions above worked and I was able to write confirm in the box.
Then my old town was there on my phone.
So just for kicks I tried it on my tablet again, and it worked now just like on the phone.
So the fix was to try to install it on another device. If hopefully you have both devices.

Didn't work for me, I "was" on level 89! Now I'm stuck in the beginning all because I don't use Facebook, never used it to sign up with this game, from what I'm hearing it's the only way. Since when? I never had this problem when I got new devices before. Not to mention the money I invested 😔
