Your right, it should be coming at an angle towards the bottom left.. I will probably do some videos on shadowing and light source e.t.c.. For this vid I just wanted to show how to draw a cube... and the shadow I did looks good.. even though it's not correct.. lol.. But good on you for pointing it out!

Try drawing on a graph paper using the lines and connecting corners, that's a lot more fun!

I love how every drawing tutorial is exactly the same. No explanations of anything just someone drawing the thing.
Imagine a tutorial on how to drive a car and the person just shows you footage of themselves driving around with some stock song playing over it. Or if there was a cooking tutorial and it was just the person cooking, sped up, with stock music.

It's just amazing that you can draw a straight line without a ruler. 1 mistake (assuming the cube has the same color on each side): The shadow is on the left, so the light must have come from the right, meaning the left side of the cube should be darker than the front side.

The shadow should cast off of the darkest side of the cube because that is the side that the light is not hitting. I enjoyed your video and the music nonetheless. :3

It looks like a cube. And that is fine. But where is the horizon line? Vanishing point?
This would lead to a deeper understanding in my opinion instead of just "looking cool".
