My brother and I joke that when ours get dull it’s almost cheaper to just buy a new one!! Mora knives are excellent

Agreed! perfect heat treat, Scandi, long lasting high carbon steel edge, easy to sharpen, great blade thickness.. slicy, works great wood... lightweight, could use better handle material and better texture/ grip but it fills the hand and its lightweight.. Great length, 3.5", sheath comes with a hole to drain any moisture from oil or working in wet weather. Rat tail tang, not full but don't let that fool ya.. or the injection mold polymer plastic handle. I've seen a Toyota tundra run over the handle 2x in a row, in a rocky driveway and again on the concrete road.. back to back, didn't crack it, bend it nothing.. good as new. Very hard to snap the tip, I mean veryy difficult. I can bet my life on this knife.

Totally agree! Mora is one of my favorite brands. The 511 was my second knife, the Kansbol is perfect.

I've got a few Moras and they are hands down the best bang for your buck knives out there.

Best $13 I've ever spent. It lives in my toolbox, cuts insulation mostly, but always is sharp and feels burly, even though it weighs nothing. Wish it could be a folder for EDC. Great blade!

I have the Companion HD carbon steel. My buddy gifted me the Basic stainless steel. I love using it in our kitchen.

A very good knife and amazing value. I bought five and my wife uses one in the kitchen. It is her go to cooking knife.

True. It's a great, little knife. Not only it's sharp out of the box but the quality is incredible when we remember how cheap it is.
There are better knives but all of them cost few times more. On said price range mora basic is unbeatable.

i have 1 of these and it’s taken a beating and is still good and very sharp, it’s almost scalpel sharp

For folding knives, I think the best you can do under $10 (aside from certain Walmart Ozark Trail models) is the Harbor Freight Gordon 3" knife with ball bearings and 8Cr13MoV. It is surprisingly well made for the price and would be a good "companion" to the Mora.

I literally buy these and throw them in a car or in a pack or in a tool set because I know oh well if I break it it's less than $20 to get something new to replace it If I lose it it's less than $20 I'll have something to replace it

I remember buying like 6 of them off Amazon my total was like 75 bucks with taxes and all and just gave em away as gifts for Christmas
