Thanks for the suggestion. We'll have to take a look at a few ways of improving basic aerodynamics.

Yep, the beautiful Wye Valley in Wales!

It is more that our cameraman is extremely good, making a downhill look like a flat road, and thus making our riders look much fitter than they are.

Another Pro Tip; Lose weight, you'll go faster ;)

It's a personal choice - just happens to be the same one three times!

You can't place an order just yet, but we hope to have the kit ready for sale soon.

It depends on the size of the group. If it's large, then you'll probably get the most slipstreaming benefit from sitting somewhere in the middle.

In a pursuit with 4 riders, the easiest position to ride in is number 3. The last rider, despite having more riders in front of him, has to push out more power. The lesson here is, don't sit last wheel!

Great video! One little note is that you can get more aero than on the drops/hoods with arms at 90 by doing the "imaginary aero bars position" where you simulate aero bars by resting the back of the arms on the tops near the stem. This position is very unstable but you can save quite a bit of energy. I've used it in races (only when at the front of course) and I've even had guys behind me complain they aren't getting any draft!

I find the most comfortable and aerodynamic position on my bike is leaning with my underarms on central horizontal bar of the handlebar. Facing my hands into the wind when it's sidewind.
I think most cycling aerodynamics evolve around getting the air to move arround you, not over or below you where it has nowhere to go and creates a lot of turbulence.

You'll notice that none of the guys fully extend their legs, but when they sit in the saddle and put their heels on the pedals their legs are fully extended. If you extend too much you'll pull your hips around and end up hurting your back and you lose power too.

Thanks, I am currently looking for a new bike so I am weighing my options. I quite like the Roubaix purely because of the roads here. I am currently riding a Wilier Cento Uno, happy with it but it's just time for a new bike.

Same here, although it's nice that my team gets Specialized stuff for cost plus 20% at the LBS, so that kind of helps a lot of us make decisions.

It helped alot ; first i thought it wouldnt work but i tried it coming from the end of my street to the start and i came so fast that i couldnt stop and came near to the start of the street where there was a turn and I hit a motorcyclist who suddenly made that turn and came in front of me .

Apparently the less vented, more aero helmets will save quite a few watts at higher speeds too. They seem to becoming more popular and seem ideal for the cooler than Summer temperatures. Thanks for the vids.

Can you guys make a video on installing clip-on aero bars on a road bicycle? Like what considerations has to be taken into account, bike fit and material choices? THANKS! :D
