Part 3 in my series on basic orchestration concepts. In this episode we will tackle the string section. Once again the 8 bar phrase I composed will be used and we will orchestrate it for the strings. We will also talk about how to give more rhythmic motion and movement to the example by using measured tremolos and a triplet rhythm in the celli and basses. Please like, comment and subscribe, would love to hear from you!!

Hi Peter, I have a question: around 18'10" (and earlier when you were doing the violin track...) you say "Let's do some dynamics" and then you seem to be playing something over your viola track. What exactly are you doing? Are you using the mod wheel? I have the same version of Logic than you, so is it something I can do too? I can hear a big difference on your track from before and after you do the "dynamics". Thanks!
