Yall have no idea how useful those dorky facial expressions are

As a child, in music lessons, I waved my hands on purpose so that the teacher would think that I would become an excellent conductor

Conductors have a hard fkn job. As a player, i am GLAD that i only have to do my part (know the music, listen to my section, and have good intonation). Conducting requires ears on everyone and knowing every little thing. Thank you conductors

I never thought a conductor had any purpose until i was in a honor choir concert outside of my school. Singing the notes, and singing the song truly are different things.

As a trumpet player, conductors are literally our back bone. Without them. So and i mean so many peices would never have heard the light of day or ever be played again because there would be nobody to teach the the Orchestra.

The orchestral musicians' joke to the conductor: don't push too hard on us, or we will play exactly what you show with your baton.

You instantly see that the conductor has a super easy job doing it in 2 as the orchestra is in a super chilled flow. Nice recording!

They certainly looks like magicians with their wands who can make music sound so enticing 😊

WOW! I must find this and listen to the whole symphony.

its not just the point that orchestras follow, its the whole body, the energy he puts out and the faces he makes are also indicators and cues.

I love how the erratic movements and the high low and then suddenly becoming smooth movement straight up matches with the flow of the music.

Several times during this piece, I was expecting the Darth Vader Theme to start.
