The fact that Sony doesn't support VRR on either it's PS5 or on it's TVs, plus game pass on the Xbox led me to get the Xbox X with the LGC1 and couldn't be happier.

After having been a Playstation guy for decades I decided to try the Xbox Series X and honestly I have no regrets. Game pass has been a massive plus, but beyond that I have fallen in love with the controller (just feels natural). Also, with the hardware that has been packed into the console I reckon that the Xbox has a higher ceiling in terms of what will be possible for the future.

As a responsible working adult, I got both. That being said, one year later I have found myself just playing Xbox much more, even though I was always a PlayStation user, for that reason I am going to make someone else happy this Christmas and sell it to them the PS5! :D . Cheers!.

I have both. Xbox Series X beats PS5 with better native 4k, quick resume, more powerful, quieter, way more comfy controller, built better and gamepass. However, PS5 has miles better exclustive games. Just my opinion, and I have been a PS player for years.

I’ve had both since release. At the beginning I was on the PS5 more playing their exclusives, but as those dried up early in the year I rotated over to Xbox and have been absolutely hooked. Game Pass is great, they’ve had some great titles drop (I’m hooked on Halo), and I enjoy having first party “pro” controllers as an option. Both are great but I’ve definitely gotten more hours out of the Xbox so far. Here’s to a game filled 2022 on all platforms!

No problems with storage as people who know understand the install file sizes on the PS5 are much smaller so the storage footprint is smaller so it's not a problem. Kraken saves Soo much space.

Went with the Series X this time. Every couple of generations I need my Halo fix. Game Pass is fantastic.

I have had both consoles for about 8 months now, and XBSX is now my preferable console. The only time i play games on my PS5 is when i play their first party stuff. My XBSX is actually my very first xbox console. I have always been a Sony guy since the very first ps, but tbh Sony has lately given me a very anti consumer feel. Getting xbox and gamepass highlighted Sony's anti consumer nature even more to me. The cross gen/cloud saves are so convenient on xbox compared to the save transfer system between ps4 and 5, which is so convoluted (with trophy progress transfer being a glitchy mess as well, and full of bugs on ps5), upgrading ps4 to ps5 games for a fee vs smart delivery on xbox for majority of the games, seems greedy on Sonys part. Also quick resume just makes playing multiple games so convenient on my xbox, something i really miss on my ps5. PS Plus and PS now adding old stale games (and if they add one nice game now and then, i already purchased that back in the day). Since gamepass puts a lot of one day releases out, i dont end up buying those games like i had to on the ps5 because it took Sony like years to put out those games. Also Sony's system of not offering free upgrades on ps4 games that i got via ps plus service is again greedy and anti consumer. I mean if i am suppose to own that game regardless of getting it from ps plus or buying it, it should be the same upgrade benefits, but Sony found a way to squeeze money out of that too. With gamepass i have literally saved hundreds of bucks because i can try and test the games in good time, without having to pay the full price on majority of them. The list goes on and on. I can bet this generation will be a huge turning point for Xbox as they seem to be doing everything right atm, opposed to Sony.

The scope of the xbox backwards compatibility is a huge deal to me as well. If I had to guess I probably spend 90% of my time on my series x. Don’t get me wrong, I love my PS5 but in general if it’s not a PS5 exclusive I’m most likely playing it on the xbox.

I personally own both, and I love them both for different reasons. But with all the value that gamepass comes with ? It’s just hard to pass that up, and considering PS5 doesn’t have many games.. I occasionally play Spider-Man, but I find myself playing PS4 games more than anything

went from ps4 to Series X. Best choice I’ve ever made. Xbox is miles ahead of Sony in terms of services, feature, hardware and upcoming games. Ps5 has no games, in 2022 only Horizon, God of War and Gran Turismo Sport 2.0. Always the same IPs. Look at the xbox upcoming games, almost all new IPs and a lot of excellent games like Hellblade, Stalker and Outer Worlds
