Additional Info for Toko Immigration ( not sure how much this applies to other regions ):
The online system's phone number is: 03-5363-3030.

The Tokyo Immigration center's general phone number is 0570-034259 or 03-5796-7234 if you have a voip phone and cant call 0570 numbers.

If you send any documents to them, it seems you address them to the address on that page as well, and address is to the "就労審査第一部門" department.
The page labeled "4" is the one for that department.

A tip for everyone - if you have used the system before but are renewing your application again with a different My Number card (since they are reissued each time your visa is renewed), you will need to start a NEW account with your new card to log in. The old Authentication ID/password you received from Immigration won't work with the new card (your My Number password/PIN will still be the same though). You can re-use the same email address etc and it will work fine. Hope this helps!

impossible to pass the very first setp. i installed JPKi software on my laptop and installed the chrome extension and i always get an error when i try to register as a new user. the card reader works fine with mynumber card on other websites

great info. i've gotten into their system and started filling out the form online but had an interruption. unfortunately this thing doesn't let you save a partially filled out application. rant sorry. My question is what do you do with the passport size photo? do you sent it to one of their offices or scan it? It sure would make it easier if they could just download my picture into their card making machine and print it from there
