Videos show China ships' 'dangerous maneuvers' against Philippine ships en route to Ayungin Shoal

Footage from the Philippine Coast Guard show Chinese Coast Guard and Chinese military militia vessels swarming, harassing, and trying to block Philippine Coast Guard and AFP-hired ships on a resupply mission to the BRP Sierra Madre on Friday, September 8. The Philippines completed the resupply mission despite China's harassment.

China is using their coast guard. Those are not warships. Those ships were designed to defend their territorial waters. And they have no intention to open fire. But they did show rapid tracking and maneuvering. They can afford to taunt us to make our first mistake. Talks are still open. I hope one day, those Chinese vessels can be used to rescue Filipinos and foreigners stranded at sea.
