I know it's hard, but don't let the trolls get to you. Us true fans and 3d printfellows love and respect the job you do!

You're the man Tom! I'm an engineer at Lulzbot and we seriously watch your stuff all the time because it's obvious that you know what you are talking about. We hold your opinion in high regard. Keep up the good work!

Yep sometimes streams go south - I tried to get a Buccaneer 3D Going once and well... it was just f*cked. Honestly, most people seem to enjoy the journey. Don't let the trolls win dude, you do incredible length streams I could never do.

very honest, forward and what I have grown to expect from this channel. it's part of the reason I love watching your videos. the diy maker experience isn't meant to be without stumbling along the way and being better for it because we learn from it. I'm frustrated with the people giving you a hard time for the live stream. they were obnoxious and oblivious to what you were trying to do. the call you made was very professional and I strongly believe that was the correct thing to do. I hope that I can make a similar call if I am ever put in that situation in my professional career.

side note the 4k video was fantastic. hope you have a good day Tom, thanks again for doing the things you do and for contributing to the maker community at large.

As a 66 year old just starting with 3D printing, I find your videos very helpful. Don't let a few negatives stress you out. I will continue watching for your very helpful information and great presentation.

Ignore the haters, you are at the size where they are going to be there even if everything is going fine. Keep doing what you're doing.

I am a 3D and Medical Product specialist and I highly value this channel.

Many of my colleagues get information from dealer or manufactureres homepages. That cant match the level of detail, one gets here.

Also appreciate the channel in my freetime. Always working on some kind of machine at home and you give me ideas or inspiration for new projects.

Keep up the good work!

lol "blue balls". Streams are tough and the stress shows, take it easy man! I watch because I value your opinion because you have previously displayed the best knowledge of 3D printing hardware and firmware on the youtube platform. The perfectionist in you shows during the live stream and I can only imagine how annoying it is to get the same comment over and over and over... Just remember the content you think is "boring" or "not polished" is 100 times better than 99% of other creators. Heck, I would rather watch you tinker to get something to work for 2 hours than 90% of other creators. Keep up the awesome work the channel is great.

I don't usually make comments ever, but Tom, I love your videos with 3D printing whether there trouble shooting or just unboxing videos and watching your videos has helped me fix problems that I have had with my printers in the past and love what you do regardless of what other people may think.

Mate I didn't catch the stream but I know what that can be like. Sorry to hear it didn't turn out well. It think you are incredibly professional in what is still a new format. I trust you to put out content that you think is good, after all everything you put out is a reflection of you. This video cements the idea in my mind that you are a conscientious content creator and I applaud you for sticking to it.

Seriously speaking, Tom - keep up the good work, buddy. Been a subscriber for a while and let's face it - it's your channel - do what you want on your vids ! Just because you pulled the plug on one livestream isn't going to cost you my subscriber tick.... :D

Respect for this video, eventhough you don't have to explain yourself.
This just shows how good you actually are and how much you care about what you do. Keep up the great work!

You were one of the people who pushed me over the edge to buying my first 3D printer -- Now I'm working on designing a CoreXYU IDEX printer on my own. Keep doing what you do, you're inspiring!

TOM, I found your channel while I was searching for help om CNC and you were so engaging and enthusiastic that I got completely hooked onto 3D printing.
I bought a second hand RepRapPro Ormerod 1 and have been upgrading it's hardware in order to get it more stable. I am struggling my butt off with it since I have been printing that stupid snowman only and I keep getting one failure after another.
BUT I find such good help from your channel that I will keep on trying. So many people refer to you as the bench Mark guy in 3D printing.

Please don't give up. You are a very good presenter and a Saint when it comes to helping others.
There will always been those who are misinformed and who are not yet capable of understanding what it is that you contribute to the makers community.

Thank you sir. For every effort and every bit of time you sacrifice to make the world of 3D printing a better place.
You are truely a pioneer!
