Russian ICBM = Intra Country Ballistic Missile

To say this is not good for Russia is an understatement. I was stationed for several years at nuclear base where we supported ICBM fields and nuclear capable bombers. Missileers would send MM III's to be tested in California where they would be launched and monitored. TBF there have been tests that have been deemed failures which is to say the personnel monitoring the tests would be gathering data and if there was an irregularity they would terminate the test immediately for safety - meaning it would be brought down while in flight over the Pacific. They cannot divulge details for security reasons but they publicize that a test will take place and whether it was successful or not. Needless to say we have not had a test in modern memory where one of the missiles exploded inside its launch facility, destroying the missile and some very valuable hardened infrastructure. And this is supposed to be THE newest, most capable nuclear missile in Russia's arsenal.
