APOPTOSIS(PROGRAMMED CELL DEATH) EXTRINSIC PATHWAY PART 1

Learn the basic molecular mechanism of Extrinsic Pathway of Apoptosis.
Apoptosis is also called Programmed Cell Death.
There are 2 basic pathway by which Apoptosis or Programmed cell death operates & they are
(i) Extrinsic pathway &
(ii) Intrinsic pathway
Extrinsic pathway is so called because it does'nt require Cytochrome c (which is present in the intermembrane space of mitochondria thus "intrinsic" to mitochondria
