Shpongle - Tales Of The Inexpressible (Remastered), released February 26, 2018
“Tales of the Inexpressible” was released on Twisted Records in 2001.
It was a much anticipated and well loved successor continuing in the pioneering spirit of the debut album and in this exceptional follow up they gave us plenty more multi-dimensional surprises and new sonic realities to explore and immerse ourselves in.

From the opening sounds on “Dorset Perception”, the first track featuring flamenco guitar and Latin percussion, we can tell we are in for some incredible planetary as well as interplanetary trips on this musical voyage as Si & Raj take us for a spin though their musical worlds, full of influences garnered on their travels to the 4 corners of the earth.

Are you prepared to go on a journey?
Listen to the entire album, don't just listen to one song, if you have time, relax, and drift off in your mind listening to this amazing album. I love this so much.

Shpongle. Never heard of this until now, and thankfully have finally heard of this. Listened through once; this is the immediate second. What a sound! My son walked by and asked "why are you listening to Psytrance?" Says it's very popular in Sweden. Allrighty then. Aural treats for walking with the king. I'm all in.

I once smoked good hash and put this album on! I lay down to bed and closed My eyes. I get to some state of mind where I saw inkas and mayans and native Americans on so lively visions that i hadnt never experienced. When album ended i fell asleep and those were best all night sleep i ever had!

Music straight from mother earth. Melodies that unite all peoples of the earth, unite all cultures and compress all feelings into one great good feeling. I love this music. Thanks

This shit is insanely good. I thought I liked Merkaba a lot, but Shpongle is insanely detailed and creative.

I've discovered several artists now that fall into this general genre (recently Ott, Younger Brother, for example). But this album was my introduction to the whole thing, and it has a special place in my memory. I bought it on CD without ever having heard it, because someone whose ear I trusted insisted that I should have it.

I remember very well what happened when I got home with the disc. I inserted it, sat in front of my speakers... and when Dorset Perception began, my jaw dropped open. It kept dropping open again and again for the next hour and nine minutes, while I sat there, saying not a word, not moving from my seat, until the whole amazing journey was over.

I have very eclectic tastes, so there have been quite a few times in my life when I've found a new way that music can be (for example, Weather Report). But usually it takes a little time to get accustomed to a new sound. Only Tales of the Inexpressible smacked me around the head and immediately woke me up in this way. It was like losing my virginity again.

This album is otherworldy and awesome. And the song Around the world in a tea daze is the level upper <3 so intense, so beautiful and psychedelic... Hara hara maha deva shambhu and then back eight miles high in our collective consciousness....
