You know Top Gun Maverick has a lot of hype behind it when DCS, MSFS, Ace Combat 7, and War Thunder all have Top Gun (or at least Tomcat for WT) themed updates

When the first Top Gun film came out, I was playing flight sims with stick-figure airplanes over flat polygons with colored pyramid blocks for mountains. Today, we get this. :)

DCS is the biggest and most important gift to all fighter pilots and militaty aviation fans of the world! The ability to fly, albeit virtually, in retirement or when you couldn't become a pilot, what could be more important and cooler?

Can we take a moment to appreciate how a company like this can continue to function given the state of the games industry as a whole. I have no idea how this team manages to build the most incredible (and accurate) simulation as the industry crumbles around them. It seriously is monumentally incredible what this team and partners has accomplished over the past 30 years.

Probably one of if not the best games ever developed and such an amazingly friendly community to boot. There’s so much passion goes into the game by both eagle dynamics and the people that play it. I love dcs and the community so thanks everyone.

That EPIC shot in the beginning 0:08 when the shot transitions from the Cat taking off to the Hornets low and fast on the deck is DCS JET PORN at it's finest!!
