"Our latest Formula 1 2018 feature on Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.

The pressure is on Red Bull Racing with a major decision ahead on which power unit to use from 2019, to stick with Renault or switch over to Honda; despite Daniel Ricciardo’s stunning win in China.

The former four-time F1 World Constructors’ Champions finished last year quietly confident, with stable technical regulations heading into 2018 - and storming wins for Max Verstappen in Malaysia and Mexico. Watch the video, and tell us what you think in the comments below…

It's a shame because Red Bull has a great chassis and a great team, just no fantastic engine

Honda is much improved this year...maybe try that? Renault are going to be concentrating on their own team....

If that update from honda reportedly around 40bhp is true then its no brainer to swap engine obiously renault will concentrate on the works team there reliability has really improved

If they drive properly... without any contacts... there is no need of anything... their car is extremely good

I’d love to see a new Era of domination from Honda!

Their main problems of the past seasons (McLaren’s Size Zero Concept, and the MGU-H) have been eliminated in the 2019 season.

Things are looking good for Red Bull - Honda!

My opinion is to work with Aston Martin as a works team. The team might have a slower start due to reliability and or pace (though I doubt pace would be an issue) but this would be a long term contract and if the Honda does not work for the Toro Rosso team, they could supply a b spec engine that has a lower (but unnoticed) rev count.

Honda has improved in its performance this year but is still suffering from poor reliability. I hope I am wrong but I think Red Bull will drop down the pecking order from third and possibly surpassed by Renaults works team.

Equal engines but lets just depend on aero and pure racing. Hows that?

Red bull needs an engine from Porsche. I think I'd wet myself in excitement if that happened.

Only modern F1 can afford to put stupid names on the car like sauber alfa romeo wich dont hav AR engine inside or aston martin red bull, WTF people, its not a F1 its just an advertising game, imagin that 20-30year ago, AR was AR, TAG vas TAG, Renault was Renault, what are we doing here, racing or fucking EA GAMES

So, are they going to gamble with Honda, or stay the course with Renault?

i think they will stick to Renault, they will see how honda improves through this season mabey in 2019 they will get honda, they canno´t risk Max´s chances of winning because of the engine

Maybe red bull might have a chance to get the Mercedes power unit next year because it got sponsored by Aston Martin and and the new vantage has a AMG engine so Aston Martin might be able to crack a deal with Mercedes
