Supreme Court Signals It May Curb EPA’s Power To Help Combat Climate Change

Several of the Supreme Court's key conservative justices signaled Monday they may be willing to restrict the Environmental Protection Agency's ability to limit greenhouse gases, which could have far-reaching consequences on efforts to combat climate change and restrict the federal government’s power.

Either way, Congress should step up and clarify the agency's limits. It is outdated and EPA having free-reign ability over the economy based on unsubstantiated studies was never meant to happen.

That’s great that the power companies want to lower emissions, but I believe it is better for them to have discretion rather than being mandated by the government. That puts too much power into the hands of a politician!

Notice the "Could have" in there. It's all predicated on a theory, not original fact. After learning about the huge areas under Russia and Alaska where permafrost is melting under miles of frozen earth and giving off huge vents of methane and carbon dioxide that nobody knew of or considered when constructing their model projections I have to consider the historical data from ice cores etc. Mother nature is doing her thing and we probably won't change that. We should consider how to adapt to changing weather.

First step is to end the outrageous tax credit for buying those overpriced, glorified golf carts. These are rich people's toys and ordinary Americans should not be subsidizing them. If electric cars are so damn good, they should sell on their own merits, not because the privileged few who can afford them get a refund on their taxes that other people need to make up. If anything, they should pay a surcharge because they don't contribute to the upkeep of the roads by not paying pump taxes.

The reason there is those in the energy sector saying they are for additional regulations is that means tax dollars tailored to them to pay for it and many won't qualify for those tax dollar thefts for one requirement or another. Thus knocking out and consolidation of industry with many tax dollars and less of their earnings and profits.
