Injuries reported after plane hits turbulence on United Airlines flight

United Airlines said five people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries due to unexpected turbulence during flight UA 128.

14 month old child not in a seat during flight that's not cool especially after take off...heavily damaged wow turbulence was so bad that's scarey that nothing could have warned the pilots this is a cause for concern...the fact that the plane was coming apart due to turbulence is terrifying my God how do you board another airplane after this...I was on an airplane that started to jolt like it was making jumps off of a ramp and hitting concrete then it shuddered so bad people were screaming I was thinking okay this is it...I pray for the comfort of my family and my regret to give them cause to grieve and I accepted that this was my last moment alive....I always heard when the airplane starts to hit turbulence look at the stewardesses and if they are smiling you can rest easy...but this time the stewardesses were running to their seats and looking panicked one said to her co worker ....is this what ithink it is....and theothersaid yes it is...I turned to her and said what is it ...they botH SHOUTED JET WASH...and after they said those words the airplane dipped so far down itfelt like we had fallen thousands of feet then the airplane regained smooth sailing but during thejolting and hammering everything sounded as if it was being hammered the shuddering was violent and up and down and side to side and drops then up then drops but the large dip i tjought okay we are falling out of the sky...the screaming was soloud including the stewardesses that i couldnt tell if the engines were still working ornot.
