Haven't watched this show in YEARS, yet when I do think of Coronation Street, I associate the show with Helen! What an incredible actress and woman! An end of an actual era ❤😢

Helen is a wonderful person she helped me out one day it would of been 1993, i was at the corner exchange in Manchester. I had my 1st son he was 3 weeks old, and he was crying i needed to get his bottle warmed up i was all fingers and thumbs panicking, and Helen approached me asked me if i was ok and if i needed some help and she helped me. I couldn't thank her enough.

I started watching coronation street in the 70s as school kid I remember when Helen came to the show so young and vibrant as all things we get old so she got older . Happy retirement I'm retiremented too .
