My family from a small rancho in Zacatecas n there’s myths about a place underneath the city where there’s a lot of riches, there’s an opening to go into it but legend say that everyone that has gone in don’t come back out.

It's strange that I have been figuring out that everyone one around me is from Zacatecas... Also I have been seeing the name lately everywhere, it was even at an art walk we had in City Terrace a community within the city of East Los Angeles, CA on a building it read "Federación de Clubes Zacatecanos del Sur de California, Los Angeles" and had that weird seal of the Spanish soldiers looking at Marry.

Zacatecas is a colonial city not too far from Guadalajara where I live. It sure is a city with traditions and great legends. Your stoy made me think of a story I used to hear as a little boy "el escapulario"...
There is even a movie made with the same name...

Saludos . So many stories on this amazing places . I was born in jalpa and lived in Tuitan for about 5 years. This church in top of the mountain in between jalpa and Tuitan si called EL SANTUARIO .
