I just Love platinum egoiste, is forever in my summer rotation, you described it the same way I feel about it. Classy, masculine, sharp, clean, it leaves a statement for sure. 11/10 for me, and that chanel quality is all over the fragrance too, i also have good longevity. Masterpiece.

Whow, thats so cool that you're mentioning D&G Pour Homme. I blind-bought this one together with Floriental...😅 and man it's so good.
I expected a classic citrus aromatic in the likes of Armani Eau Pour Homme or Dior Eau Sauvage, but what I got really surprised me in a positive way! Same here... easily my favorite D&G now! So smooth and it gives me good vibes. The italian take on YSL L'Homme

Great list, I have Platinum Egoiste and find myself grabbing it for a sniff all the time. I have related bottles like Prada L’Homme Intense, L’Homme Ideal EDP & Extreme and Dior Homme Parfum.

About Platinum Egoiste I got another new batch 2024, it's my most powerful EDT, last for 6-8 hours and projects really good. Honestly sweet spot is 6 hours with Medium projection. I don't want to be smelled from far away or scream for attention like I am 20 years old. Elegant perfumes do not last or project like crazy in my opinion.

Great video! I typically have 20 bottles in my rotation, so I haven't tried a number of these fragrances. I have my eyes on the Platinum Egoiste though. Perhaps I pick it up sometime next month.

Dior Homme Sport is nice, It reminds me of Traubenzucker somehow, I can't quite describe it but its kind of like a sugary lemon soda. Really great fragrance but performance rivaling Chanel, so not very good 🤣
Hermes Eau Givree is awesome, smells basically 1:1 like Parfums de Marley Pegasus at 1/4th of the price. Doesnt quite last as long as the PdM version but for the price is amazing. It's a little greener than the PdM which I like.
Prada L'Homme is a classic, one of the best dumb reach fragrances, when you don't know what to wear this is a very safe bet. It's always professional to wear this. The iris in this is just beautiful. I'm in a position now that I don't have to be mindful of what fragrance I'm wearing at work so I'm using Prada L'Homme less than before but it's still one of my staples.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport was one of the first fragrances I myself bought a full bottle of. It's very close to my heart but unfortunately the performance is disappointing. I remember it being longer lasting and also cheaper. At the price and performance we get in 2024 it's not really an option to respray 3-4 sprays every 2-3 hours, so I usually only wear it for short trips outside like going grocery shopping. The smell is still very good though. I also own both the Chanel Allure Homme Sport and the Versace Pour Homme and they are too similar. The versace is a little more lemon leaning while the Chanel is a little more mandarin leaning if I had to compare them but it's so hard 🤣
Chanel Platinum Egoiste was one of the fragrances of my dad so it's a fragrance that really warms my heart and reminds me of a lot of special times I've spent with my dad.
Back when he wore it it was a beast, lasting 9-10 hours on hot summer days. While I like smelling it, I can't really see myself wearing it.
If I had to pick two mainstream Designer Fragrances I would probably pick Chanel - Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme and Yves Saint Laurent - La Nuit de L'Homme. Both aren't performing as well as they used to but the scent is just amazing. So versatile, very mature and manly but still crowd pleasing.
Anyway, thank you a lot for the video. Great video idea and lots of great fragrances you've picked out. Keep it up 🤗

Subscribed! You rock and we share similar tastes because I have many in your list. Plan to get TDH Eau Givree next.

Have you tried Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP? I think you’ll love it. Bit pricey though.

Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme is "made in Italy" again. I have a bottle of the "made in France" and the "new Made in Italy" Version. This might apply to other D&G perfumes like the Intenso. 😉

4:00 My signature scent from a good few years ago, unfortunately ruined by refolmulation - that version lasted for a light 8/10 hours (I'm talking about the 1994 version with a sticker on the bottle). I tried the latest version and it lasted for 5/6 hours, and the scent itself is not the same, it's similar but not the same :( Maybe someone knows something in this style, "italy in bottle" - but something that lasts at least 7/8 hours? Either way, great content, I'm subscribing :)

10:33 do you have any recommendations regaring niche fragrances you would prefer? Cause I can't find any that could compete with Prada L'Homme.

Hermes Givree Mainstream Perfume ? Hermes is an Old respected house, it's not like Xerjoff or PDM that are new houses. Also Givree cost 160 euro per 100ml and Cassamorati 180 euro 100ml, the prices are also close ? So what makes it mainstream?
