Cessna Floatplane Water Landing

Cessna 172 Skyhawk Seaplane C-FXDQ is seen on the approach and landing on Kootenay Lake off the shores of Nelson, British Columbia. It was nice to see this classic Cessna of floats, and I love the tail livery on this one!

Beautiful. I've flown in a C172 on floats a couple of times from Mill Valley CA 1980 & 1991, plus piloted a landplane Skyhawk many times.

I really enjoyed that video. The Cessna 185. Read the constant speed propeller. It was a by the book exam. Perfect Landing. No show off to come in under the bridge. Thank you very much.

Loved this video! I learned to fly floats on a 172. It was perfect for that task but only a 2-place airplane on floats. Still lots of fun!
