In my childhood, I was living on the shore of the Richelieu river. A private Cessna seaplane was based about 1mile from home, but sometimes the wind direction led the pilot to take-off in the segment of the river in front of our house. When I was hearing the plane taxiing for take-off, I never missed the show that was for me the sight of the seaplane making its u-turn on idle, then going full throttle with all that noise and the mist that follows the plane.
A big deal for the kid that I was, and it's a good memory that video provides me.
