Thank you very much. I was looking everywhere for an explanation. I just pulled front cv axles in order to replace the seals and one came out with the stud and one didn't. First time doing this, so I was worried.

Same with the longer intermediate shafts. It’s with the snap rings

Guys, I’m having a heck of a time getting the stub shaft off the old passenger side CV axle of a 2002 Chevy Cavalier with automatic transmission and Chevy says those stub shafts are discontinued. Do you know if the manual CV axle will instead? There are plenty of those for sale but I don’t know if it will fit without buying and trying to install.

Stop park your truck get some gas and a match and light that mother fucker up cause for 2500 bucks they can fix it but can sell you the intermediate shaft with bearings and seals so you can fix Chryslers fuck up . Can someone tell me why they won't sell this to the public ??? I hear essential services vehicles can get them but not us common folk..??
