Another detail. Whoever was the first person for us to meet from a region has the same weapon type as their archon. We met amber from monstad first and she uses a bow like Venti, from Liyue we met Xiangling first and she uses a polearm like Zhongli, from Inazuma we met Kazuha first and he uses a sword like Raiden ei (not shogun), and from sumer we met Lisa first which uses a catalyst. Well a sword, specifically a fencing-type sword, is very French-Italian, which are the irl nations Fontaine will be based off of so I think it’ll be a sword :) Or maybe like Ei she’ll have a sword for her burst or sth but a non-sword otherwise

I think it will be a claymore user, because Candace is using a polearm so that just leaves claymore and also because it would be more unique to have so that every Archon uses different type of weapon, instead of having two Archons with the same type of weapon. Of course this won’t be possible in the future since there are not enough weapon types but yeah

I think she'll have a sword for a variety of reasons. But mostly because Fontaine is based on France home of the Musketeers. So I can also see her signature weapon being a Rapier-style sword weapon.
Looking forward I think that the Pyro Archon is likely to be the Claymore-wielding archon of the group as and the Tsaritsa leaning towards Catalyst or Polearm given how much Hoyo loves Polearms lol.
