It's totally utopian to whittle down thousands of years worth of different human cultures, each unique in their own ways, with various traditions/languages/rites of structures etc - to the simple idea of being nothing more than "Earthlings".

If this gentleman's worldview is so simple and devoid of any real thought other than the fact we all collectively live on the same planet, then thats up to him. But on the contrary, i think it is a beautiful thing that we have had the privilege of separation to form our own unique ways.

I would also argue that the push for globalism, such as what this man is advocating, threatens to dilute those uniquities by dismissing the very notion that we are different, as though it is a bad thing. I think we should all be proud of our individual cultures that we have inherited and should strive to protect them and pass them on.
