Great content but I have a question. How does Skiff compare to Proton? In terms of encryption which email provider provides the best service? I've watched Eric Murphy's explanation on why email isn't secure but I don't have a full picture. For example, does E2EE work the same way regardless of whether you receive emails from other Skiff users or from a gmail account?

Tom, please tell them to provide a way to backup to a users own Synology or Qnap NAS like we can do with Google Workspace and MS Office 365. For business use cases a continuous backup for disaster recovery and e-discovery under the full control of the business is kind of mandatory. stuff should stay encrypted until it's decrypted by the admin user on Synology or Qnap devices. also using a local backup one can snapshot the data and isolate it from ransomware attacks that could always find its way onto any server one way or the other.

I cannot use it if it does not let users send password or PIN protected emails to non-Skiff or external recipients. It's definitely not an S tier product until it implements this important feature.

iam also a big fun of skiff mail, I really like that they updated their products so often. Both their mobile and web apps are treat. I use it as a backup mail for now, I might change to it though.

I like the idea of skiff but I have had issues trying to delete labels and folders. I also have a hard time attaching a word document to mail to others bc it shows up blank on other end. I use my iphone snd ipad mostly but even on my computer.

Has a limit of 40 emails in 24h. Not sufficient for work purposes.
