- 2 Puff Pastry Sheets
- 2 Chicken Breasts, Split in Half
- 1 Tsp Olive Oil
SEASONING BLEND:
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp Creole Seasoning (I used no the no salt version.)
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper

- 3 Strips of Bacon, Diced (Optional- If you choose not to use bacon, substitute for 3 Tbsp Butter)
- 1 Cup Diced Carrots ( Peel the skin)
- 1 Large Yellow Onion, Diced
- 1/2 Cup Diced Celery
- 1 Diced Russet Potato
- 1 Tsp Minced Garlic
- 3 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 1 Tsp Dried Thyme
- 1/2 Tsp Dried Basil or Rosemary (Optional)
- 1 Heaping Tbsp Better Than Bouillion Roasted Chicken Base + 2 Cups of HOT Water OR 2 Cups
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 3/4 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Cup Frozen Green Peas
EGG WASH: 1 Egg Yolk + 1 Tsp of Water

OMG, I finally made it. It's the best chicken potpie I've had anywhere. I damn near hurt myself. The extra pastry crust and filling I had, I wrapped the filling up like an individual calzone. Like a wrap. Oh my damn!

I usually don’t comment but I absolutely had too. I love dairy but it doesn’t love me. I used this recipe but I used unsweetened almond milk (mooala brand), plant based butter, and a vegan heavy whipping cream from trader joes. This turned out so yummy was BOMB! I did omit the bacon hence, the plant based butter. I tasted the filling before putting it in the skillet It was delicious. THANK YOU! You da bomb sis!

Girl! I make mine almost the exact same way! Instead of potatoes, I add mushrooms and I deglaze with white wine. It’s sooo good and easy, it should be illegal! Making one tonight! I hope people try your recipe because I know they won’t be disappointed!

I made this after I got home from work and my husband ate 3 servings!! He’s not a huge eater so that says a LOT!! Best pot pie we’ve ever had. You won’t be sorry. Next time gonna do the bacon and Tony’s seasoning and prep the day before!

I made this tonight and it was scrumptious. I seasoned the chicken with salt, black pepper, chicken seasoning, smoked paprika and fresh garlic. Slightly different to your ingredients, but well received by the troops 😅

Total food bomb. Loved it. A lot of people feature more of a biscuit topping but I really prefer the pastry sheets. I topped mine with not only the egg wash, but when it was done I brushed it with garlic butter. I also used a can of cream of chicken instead of the recipe.

This is the best pot pie I’ve ever made. I substituted the pie crust with cheddar bay biscuit dough and OH MY GOD. So good, it’s decadent. I felt naughty eating it. Calorie count has got to be crazy but it’s good good eating
