Inflation is far more harmful to individuals than a collapsing stock or property market because it directly affects people's cost of living, which they immediately feel. It is not surprising that the current market sentiment is extremely pessimistic. In today's economy, assistance is critical if we are to survive.

As a Turkish myself, I think Turks deserve all the bad things we had through. If Erdogan can still be elected by vote, public wants to suffer from bad economy etc…

In April 2007, Turkish lira was 0.85 to 1 USD. Now its at 0.0495 to 1. This is abysmal. You have to actively work to get a currency to collapse like this.

Sadly, this is the people's choice of election. The economy will only get worse. I was really hoping for my investments this year, but all my plans have been disoriented. The market conditions these days because of the economy crisis are really causing me a lot of stress. I'm worried that this could put a wrench in my retirement plans. So exhausting!
