I put one of these on my blackout Shaman. What a huge difference! Way more fidgety and now lefty friendly. Although not a wrong handed guy, I can still fidget lefty with no problem. Great addition to a compression lock.

I don't own a single knife with a compression lock. I've sold them all because I hate the lock. This opens up some possibilities!

Made my my own for my Para 3 and Lil Native over a year ago. Good to see someone with some business sense taking the same type idea and making it available to the community. Might be giving him some business myself with the next compression lock I purchase.

Nice, I ordered one for my PM3 earlier look forward to seeing it. Remember to do your survey on Kickstarter.

I've honestly wondered why Spyderco doesn't just do this from the factory. It would be easy to just have some countersunk screws through the lock bar, use a "left hand" compression lock to make a right-hand button lock version of any knife. This makes me want to buy a left hand para 3 lol.

Lefty hear. I own and use the Kapara daily. It is my primary carry. I have no problem using the compression lock on the Kapara. I quickly developed the finger strength and muscle memory to open and close it with ease. Still, this interests me.

I hadn’t heard about this yet, and being a lefty it’s of serious interest to me. We lefties live in a right hand world and learn to adapt but every little thing like this helps. Thanks for the therapy bud. 👍🏻

I feel like I saw a forum where someone was using the tiny button rare earth magnets for the same purpose. Just another option that would be a bit less expensive and easily removable.

It seems like it gives it the feel of a button-ish lock. Cool stuff

Good content as usual. Tomorrow my PM2 Tanto second is being delivered from ocd4edc for my Christmas present to me. Can’t wait.
Merry Christmas to you, yours and the community. Looking forward to the New Year.

I can see that being 'great' for a lefty ! Happy New Year...Maybe a little 220 to rough up the lock would help the CA grab ...?

Well, I'm intrigued. Im a fan of the compression locks, but I think it will still help with fidgetabiltly, which is always a plus in my book

I have the Kapara, a PM 2 and a Sage 5 and all three will be getting the CME treatment. Hoping Justin can come up with some red G10 (or red and black) because I think a red CME would look pretty spiffy on the Kapara with its red back spacer.
