The four types of tissue you find in your body are muscles, nervous tissue, epithelial tissue, and connective tissue. But they all look really similar at first glance under a microscope. The goal of this video is to clarify some of those tissue types and give you real world examples.

Again, it's not an affiliate link, I just like them.

That might mean explaining a topic from an anatomy class or exploring a topic from medical history.

It so amazing how youtubers on biology are saving our a**. They explain way better than our professors in classes. They just throw the lessons on our faces like dirty laundry and we have to sorte them out by ourselves. My classmate just send me this video to watch and I like it. Your explanation is clear like crystal. Thanks I appreciate it 🙏

You managed make me do something I've never done before. Sit through a whole histology presentation. If it was always taught like this there'd be a lot more histologists! 👏🏽👏🏽

I am two weeks into my anatomy class with an exam this coming Tuesday on 4 Chapters including LAB. To say I am lost and confused is an understatement lol. However, your videos are truly helping me understand this stuff. I can cry from happiness. I hope everyone struggling comes across your page. Wonderful resource.

The comparison of kids lined up at recess with their different heights and pseudostratified columnar epithelium made SO MUCH SENSE to me. I can’t thank you enough. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever tried to understand

My 3 yo asked, “how did tissue get in your body?” I explained to her that it wasn’t like the tissues we use in the bathroom and immediately came to YouTube. I’m so glad we stumbled across your video. She loved it and learned many things. Thank you.

Interesting data:
- organism > organs > tissues > cells
- 4 types of tissues: muscles, epithalial, nervous, and connective
- subtypes for each tissue type + nomenclature is presented quickly
- very clear and entertaining video for an educational video --> good inspiration

I've never learned so much from a 9mins video. In fact, in any class. Thank you so much!

I'm taking anatomy and the way the teacher explains it feels overwhelming to me, she doesn't break down the word like "striated" and "pseudostratified" and how simple squamous means one layer of flat cells, it helps so much how this professor makes it easier for us to understand what is what. And the pictures too, thank you so much for making histology interesting and learnable!!(:

On Monday I was told we were having a lab exam on Wednesday that was going to include histology despite having a 30min lecture. I was extremely lost and worried, but finding you has been a blessing. So thank you for teaching me, you're going to get me through this A&P class 🙏🏻

Thank you for this amazing video, I have a lab practical coming up on all this that is going to involve a lot of photos of tissues and skin layers that I must identify. People like you make these classes so much easier to get through, thanks.
