The DS era, especially, introduced a TON of unique and interesting events through things like the Pokémon distribution cartridge downloads for the Secret Key for Rotom, the Member Card for Darkrai on Newmoon Island, Oak's Letter for Shaymin in Flower Paradise and the unreleased Azure Flute for Arceus in the Hall of Origin, among others like the Enigma Stone for Latias or Latios and the Sinjoh Ruins Arceus event, to name a few.
