Ms. Romanovska received her J.D. with a concentration in family law from the Freie University School of Law, a research University located in Berlin and one of the most prominent universities in Germany. She received her Master’s Degree (LL.M.) in US Legal Studies from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
Ms. Romanovska has been a resident of San Francisco since 2009. She was born in Kiev and lived there until the age of 15 when she moved with her family to Germany. Living in such diverse places has given Ms. Romanovska an understanding of different cultures that helps her thoughtfully practice law and be better connected with each of her clients. When Ms. Romanovska moved to San Francisco, she decided that she wanted to start a boutique family law firm so that she would have the time to really connect with her clients and make a difference in each matter. I am Disabled and I am only able to pay my Attorney fees. I filed for Divorce because my wife refused to buy me food and she really treated me bad. Constant threats to me every time she would come near me I would stand up and she said you are threatening me. You sit down or I will call the Police. I never ever harmed her in any way. I was her Husband for 45 years. This threat of calling the Police had no warrant. This was a new thing I did not understand. She had already been served with the Divorce papers, She shred financial papers in front of me after being served. She Physically attacked me and had me on the floor, I could not breathe, I cried out for the neighbors to send help. No one came to my aid. She got off me because she thought she I stopped breathing. She grabbed her purse and said "I am out of here" she then ran out the front door. As soon as I could I called the Police to have them come to make the Spousal/Elder abuse report. When she started on me I thought I had better just let her hit me. I did not want her to say I hit her. I have the whole fight on a recorded phone app.

My child’s mother has violated the court order for 4 months and cps after cps, bf after bf, moving after moving, didn’t show up to last court date. My attorney said we still can’t file contempt

HE violated all court orders for custody I don't see my kids for one year, he give the wrong address, and he didn't show up for the trial,
he was supposed to take the kids for therapy, 2 years order. I filed contempt if he did come what happened?

@2:32 so the cited case law can be used to throw out contempt charges for not paying any division of assets or outstanding community property debt payments that the family law court orders that one or both of the parties have to pay to/for the other based on the fact that family law court has NO jurisdiction for this? Is that correct?

Would I file contempt if other party continues to with hold child, I’m going on 5 weeks of my kids dad withholding her an I have 4 police cases on him violating court order rotation, as well as he lowered his child support an as of right now he currently isnt paying it at all because he’s claiming he is using it for his daycare payments while she is in his custody lol I don’t mean to laugh but this is more than a good enough reason to file contempt correct?

If the person who is in contempt of court is fined, who does the fine get paid to? The court, or the person they were in contempt against?

My ex wife was found guilty of Contempt of Court in Virginia for violating a custody order. She was granted a TRO in San Francisco but did not tell the court their was an existing custody order. She checked the box "No" when asked about any existing custody orders... That's a clear perjury under oath on an affidavit of domestic violence right?
