Today I'm testing out this odd mini USB dishwasher, by request. After an initial preliminary test, I tried it out with silverware and then other dishes.

I understand those who think this should have been fully immersed, but the promotional photos and instructions clearly show it partially submerged. It is also not shown being used in a corner as some suggest. I did my best to accurately re-create what is demonstrated as the proper way to use this item. Would you really put a cheap Chinese electronic device - plugged into the wall - fully underwater when the instructions don't show this being done?

I was more impressed with the apple suctioning cups

Moral of the story: If you see somebody with one of these in their house then you might want to skip out on dinner.

I could see this being used to make bubbles for a bubble bath 😂

I think they are trying to use the vibration almost like jewelry cleaners.

This honestly worked better than I was expecting. Not all that hard to surpass expectations when the expectations are 0.

The device is only effective in a 2-3 inch radius from the opening of the fan due to the higher levels of pressure is put out to move water and current, after 5 inches away it's way too weak to remove caked on surfaces. It also cannot push water and current into areas that are secluded, like bowls and cups, the 'current' will just go around them.

There is a reason why dishwashers does not completely submerge your dishes and instead shoots high pressure water and uses steam and rinse cycles.

Hi James, The instructions said to place the suction on the 'bottom' of the unit and you placed it on the 'back'. That should allow more of the working part of the unit to be in the water with the wire still positioned above the water. I'm not sure, but repositioning the suction holder lower on the unit might help it function better.

I feel like it’s a compliment to your personality that I knew that that thing was a price of crap the moment you held it up but I still watched the entire review.

I wash dishes by hand. When I'm stacking plates or bowls in the sink, I put a fork or spoon between each. Holds them apart to get water in there.

I have one of these in my camper. You submerge the unit, and works best to put it in the corner of your sink. The curve fits it better and holds firmly. Admittedly we dont use thus to CLEAN them for use. But it makes it easier to drop it in amd pre-wash them, especially if we left them overnight.

EDIT: And we litterly just stack them in it.

That thing is more trouble than it's worth. Thanks for the review

SON: I bought you a new dish washer for mothers day.
MOTHER: GREAT! Where is it?
SON: Did you check the mail box?

So everyone seems to be in agreement that it should be fully immersed in the cleaning water. Importantly nobody seems to have noticed that in the instructions that the dishes need to soak for a minute before starting up the "dishwasher"

Calling an electronic device that you submerge in water the "super shock" might not be the best idea.

No need to watch the video to know this wasn’t gonna work lol. But I watched it anyway!

It would be cool if you could include clips of commercials for the products you're reviewing so that we can see how it's supposed to perform, according to the manufacturer.
