This reboxing will show you all the components, and give you a sense of what you get with the game. This is a paragraph driven experience where your knights will be questing to win destiny points. This is most definitely NOT an unboxing.

In Tales of the Arthurian Knights, you are a hero or heroine in a story of adventure and awe! You and your fellows will travel the land at the behest of the renowned King Arthur. Through a series of quests, you will make impactful choices that will steer the course of your journey. Secure your place in history by achieving glorious feats, lest your efforts be doomed to obscurity. Gather your band of Knights around the table to enjoy your own epic tale as it unfolds!

Building on the mechanisms from the classic storytelling game Tales of the Arabian Nights, you now find yourself in the age of chivalry alongside Lancelot, Merlin, and many other characters from Arthurian lore. Quests will lead to glorious battles, daring rescues, and the discovery of such marvels as the Holy Grail.

As you navigate through this paragraph-driven experience, an updated victory point system will track your success. Tales of the Arthurian Knights eliminates matrixes and charts in favor of a streamlined method of dictating the paragraphs that will shape your adventure. After making your choices, a single roll plus skill bonuses will determine success or failure.

Choose your actions carefully, and you will be rewarded with skills, renown, and nobility. Choose poorly, and be scorned, cursed, or made a pariah. My big question for this game is do your choices actually make at least a little sense with the story result, or is it like Arabian Nights where everything was ridiculously random.

You're quite a wizard. It's very handy to keep tokens in the punch boards, but now not sure if they fit when punched out + most importantly room for individually sleeved cards (not just rewrapped ;)).

The best way I see for putting everything back in perfectly is by removing the insert (don't have to regret about it as the insert might cost very little money)

Arabian Nights is one of my favorite games of all time, so I cannot wait to hear how this one compares. With a book that thick, it definitely seems like they went as deep into the lore as the original.

I'm also excited to get some reuse from my Shadows Over Camelot minis, since many of the characters are the same (although, not the same colors, alas)

Kudos to whoever realized that "Arthurian Knights" has the exact same syllables (and a pun!) as the original title. That's perfectly 👩‍🍳's 💋
