didn't work on mine. my "3 dots" are vertical instead of horizontal. its a podcast playlist instead of a song playlist, does that affect things?

At 1:13 into the video you see a _Custom order_ to the right. One can change the ordering there. I've changed it to alphabetically by song title. On my computer it works, but it's still the old order on another device.

That's all very well if you only have about 10-20 songs on your playlist, mine is 209 songs. I was hoping the was a 'shuffle' or 'random order' function available.

My playlists don't have the "add a person" icon nore does it have the three dots to edit. I also tried changing the order to "custom order" as some people have said to do and the custom order is not an option, I only have the option to list by date added HELP please.

Great video but in my case (and I suspect others looking at the posts to this video) there's a crucial extra bit of info to get the drag and drop to work - on my Macbook I found I needed to go to the "Sort by" menu on the top right of the screen and then select "Custom order".

For those trying to rearrange their songs through the edit button but can't, I've found another way:

First, play a song, then enter the song, where you can see the option to pull up the lyrics and whatnot.

At the bottom right, next to the share button, there's a button with 2 horizontal lines and 1 round bar. Click that to change the order of ur songs.

No, you do not need premium to do this.

random bug with the desktop app, if you use Spotify's "Enhance" feature you are not able to rearrange your playlist.

@NFT INSPO, i noticed that you posted this video a year ago, but changed the title to 2024. Maybe unknown to you, but spotify premium doesn't allow you to choose the first song in your playlist to whatever you want, as it just replaces it with something else. This only happened within the last month or so, and its annoying.
