Laos Is Not For Beginners!🇱🇦

I underestimated these roads here in Laos! I didn’t know. Mud, Potholes, rain and steep mountain climbs really taking it out of me today. Gone are the days of going fast and racing around smooth roads in china;) anyway, challenge accepted and I will keeping riding that broken electric motorcycle until the end, I will not buy a new motor for 4000$. That would be insane! Ps. Why does my bike gps not work here?

Sounds like the Pulley bearings are out. Whenever you wash the motorcycle, In your case submerge the motorcycle, you need to make sure its well lubricated after cleaning. In this case, since the pulley is a sealed unit, you will have to change it or open it up somehow and re-grease it. That will resolve the issue. If you continue to ride with the broken pulley, the ball bearings will heat up and eventually break apart. this could cause damage to the axis of the motor. Look into the Pulley at the earliest. These Laos road are really tough. After you left China, I knew that it will be very challenging ahead in Laos because I have been there before but not on a bike but in a 4x4. Craziness. I remember road and weather conditions like this from a long time ago in northeastern India (where I grew up). I can't imagine riding a motorcycle through something like this now. And Joel and Erica... I bow down. Pls tell them.
