Gorgeous. Would pick this over the supra and US rivals on looks alone. A car with a heritage and character.

Gotta love Arthur's sear but in better weather. Good review, you come away with a feel for the car without setting foot in a dealership.

Thanks for the review of the Z. I'm sure it will be a thoroughly enjoyable experience for those fortunate enough to own one. Personally I'd like to see it in a genuine convertible format but I guess I have a liking for soft tops. Cheers

We'll done Nissan. Great to see sports cars coming back for us all to debate.

Nice looking car and about time the Z featured turbos. The review leaves me feeling the car is a bit sedate and not quite what I expected from it. Surely this is a great tuning platform with adjusting the boost on those turbos.

I personally prefer the Supra and think it's the better sports car for a number of reasons.
But it's always nice to have options.

did they say only 2 options for colour?

is there much reason to get this over the GT v8 mustang? since they are similar price here in Aus, and the mustang has higher resell value and the v8 power.

OMG, you blokes cant get it right, nothing to do with "tricky things done to the exhaust gas recirculation" matey, the VR30DDTT has a pair of intake blow off valves added (plumbed in back to the turbo inlets) and as such called recirculation valves that keeps the turbos spooled when on and off the throttle. EGR vales are emission devises to reduce NOX that have nothing to do with the turbo intake tracks or performance.

These first drive videos are always so fuffy and happy. Saying its better than an Infiniti is a very low bar. Thr brakes and steering on the new Z are horrid. Would rather have the better performing Mustang GT

It looks too square at the front and the lights don't suit the shape.

Nissan took toooo long to bring this slightly updated 370Z platform to fruition. Its dynamically no different than the old 370Z/350Z ie Years old ride and handling, exact same notchy hard to use gearbox, and sticky clutch, and the same old almost non-existent viscous LSD, fine 30 years ago, but now? Oh yeah the power the power, Nissan just dropped the unreliable Infiniti Q60 engine in. yeah go ahead go blow 70K plus on, what is essentially just another cheap and nasty Nissan.
