Wait that has to be a mistake….instead of a fan header for the fan….a sata power connector that’s as big as the drive? Why???

Almost every motherboard I’ve had including my latest am5 rog strix board has a fan header in the middle of the motherboard this was the perfect opportunity!

So gigabyte aorus mainboard come with M.2 EZ clips- the SSD housing makes it a little too thick for the EZ Clip to close Secure the ssd!

This video says nothing about removing the front label before install when the other corsair video I found does and so does the physical manual I got. What none of these tutorials say, though, is why my mp700 had a heat spreader I couldn't remove under the label, and that the label on the back you're NOT supposed to remove or it will void your warranty. I'm confused and I hope my product works.

This ssd cooler is a failure. Add same cooler on the opposite M.2 slot and the logo will be uppside down. And yup, you can put it upside down but the fan will go againts the airflow from the front fans. What a failure from Corsair's engineers. Maybe Corsairs design team have only tested it with motherboards that have M.2 slots going only one way? There is no standard that say the m.2 ssd slots going one way. Hmmm, this cooler get zero points from me.

what about using the drive with the passive cooling of the motherboard? does the drive throttle under heavy load with the mobos passive cooling?
