We need a law that says If you claim sexual assault and are proven to be lying, , you will receive the same criminal punishment, as the man would have received

The army shares guilt in ruining this man’s career in denying him due process.

Women like that, make woman who were truly raped look like liars. She should have been sentenced to serve jail time!🤮

False accusations should be penalized with the same punishment for the accuser that the accused would have gotten. 20 years at least.

He should be reinstated with all back money and honor and all promotions due him. The woman should be sent to prison for twenty years for lying and destroying an officer's life.

This lady should go to prison for what she did. It ruined his life. Eye for an eye!

It is a travesty. You ruin a man’s life for nothing. Jail time is a must.

The court should have also forced the military to reinstate him, will full back pay, and the promotion they denied him. THEN justice would have been done.

Women who accuse men of rape and it turns out to provably false need to be sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in federal prison.

notice how she continues to blame him even after it was proven that she lied. Accountability is not something women like this can do. Thats a huge red flag. I hope this man takes appropriate measures to protect himself from her.

This is the only type of accusation where the presumption of innocence goes right out the window from the very start.

Women like this make me sick. It’s hard enough for women to be believed when be abused and or raped. This woman should have to spend the same amount of time in jail that the Colonel would have gotten had he been found guilty.

Shame on her.

Thank you Colonel Will for your service to our country. May God keep you safe and may you have loads of love and happiness for the rest of your life.

These kinds of rulings are useless, that "blogger" has no way to ever pay that amount. Jailtime would be better punishment.

False accusations are a disgusting and horrific crime.

The Navy did the same to me after false allegations from my ex-wife, who left me and our two daughters. The Navy did not care about the legal system. My ex made false claims and they took away my promotion. The military is not interested in what is right and wrong!

Gals this is a prime example of why guys are not interested in messing with you at all. This has happened to many times to be ignored as a potential risk.

I would hope that the Army would have reinstated his military career, with that promotion and back-pay and public acknowledgement of the false allegations.

Let me guess how this played out after the verdict. Since the woman was a blogger as a job, she was nearly penniless, so the guy actually got almost no monetary compensation. However he did receive moral vindication.

Honestly, I learned a long time ago to never be alone with a women. I was working a temporary job at Sun Chemical in Cincinnati in the mid 2000s, as a temp it was my job as an accounting to find missing money and all the full time employees were worried. One day a lady said she needs to talk to me alone in a classroom. Not knowing any better, I went in she closed the door, said something to the effect she wasn’t worried about her job and that was it. Never really said a word or touched that women. A hour later I get a call from my temporary company saying I was “fired” and I had to leave the property ASAP. After I got home I found out that lady said some lies that I touched her and so forth. Without anyone else in the room to prove my innocence, who do you think the companies believe? I didn’t even get a chance to prove my innocence’s. So trust me, it happens, not say it happens all the time, just beware and NEVER, EVER meet someone alone in a room, they will backstab you in a heartbeat.

The US Army needs to publicly apologize to the Colonel and immediately reinstate him and promote him to Brigadier General with back pay. That woman needs to do at least a weekend in jail for lying and destroying another person's life. "THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST THY NEIGHBOR".
