So... YouTube internal team told me that only my distributor can make a metadata change request, but Distrokid says every time I make a support request something else, this time they sent me some article about drake as an answer.. I distribute all my music with artist name spelled lowercase but they distributed a single with artist name spelled wrong anyways which has created a Topic channel spelled wrongly as well as profiles on other streaming services.. I've been fighting for years to get this little detail changed, but I don't know what else to do since to access YouTube support you have to be a partner noways since yt artist support doesn't work anymore.. Lucky I managed to get it manually changed on iTunes and Spotify.. I would appreciate any help if someone has any idea or has managed to get capitalization fixed.

Hey i have a simple question. When i use a music distributor for example let's say Distrokid or Tunecore, they will automatically create a topic chanel for me. After i merge them with my own chanel, how should i proceed if i want to upload my own custom video for my song. Should i delete the distributor's one, or in general what should i do if i want my custom video. I couldn'd find any info. Please help.

Distrokid said they cannot do this. Do you know how I can contact YouTube? I will be losing access to the email account associated with my OAC.

Does posting non-music related content on my artist channel hurt the algorithm? It definitely feels like it does for my official artist channel, "Zephyr Khambatta", if you could help me check in like 10-20 seconds, or have an opinion on it, I'm all ears. Thanks!

Hi! I have 2 channels under 1 email address. YouTube claimed the one that I don’t even use as my official artist channel! I have no idea what to do. Any advice? Should I just delete that channel or is there someone I should contact?

I’ve had this question forever, my page right here is an official artist YouTube page, i make different YouTube content now that’s not music related. Does my page only pop up for music channels or will the algorithm put my channel everywhere on YouTube ? I feel like i don’t get the views i deserve because it’s an artist page and not a normal YouTube channel…please answer this for me i would greatly appreciate it 🙌🏾
