Never saw Moe chip because he never missed a green! 🥰

I’m sure when most people saw Moe on a golf course, they just saw an old man wearing goofy clothes. Probably never even gave him a second glance, not realizing they were in the presence of one of the greatest players AND teachers to ever play the game. I wish I could have met him.

Never seen Moe chipping. So simple, smooth. All in the right hand, I would say, did Moe say that?

Just learned about Moe a month or so ago. I’m new to golf. It’s like if Bubbles from TPB was a good pro. I wish I would’ve known of him sooner. I’m glad he is starting to get the recognition he deserves too. What an amazing human.

I was blessed to see more Norman one time really in my life for a couple days. I went to Doral. I can't remember how many years to go to the tournament and he was there. I guess it's over 20 some years ago from what I remember and we were down there and all the sudden we saw all the tour players stop so the older gentleman Mo Norman were walking out there with his. I guess couple balls and chip and irons and stuff like that again an hour one hour in this end and he had a caddy with him and it was amazing to watch him do the things he did. He could hit balls and hit him 135 40 50 yd that they were already beside each other. Every tour player that was there stopped and watched him. Everyone stopped. He was that incredible. I was lucky enough to see him 2 days. I saved for the whole weekend from a friend of mine. Danny and we knew one of the great caddies. Pete Bender and Pete got us at Doral lot and we got to see Mo. Norman, I'll never forget it. It was most incredible thing I've ever seen to this day. Nobody could touch him. What a sad thing. He was so misunderstood because of his. I guess his speech issue or headache. Everybody thought he was not quite all there but he was more than all there. He was smarter than anybody else as far as golf game. He was genius when I came to the golf game. God bless. I wish I'd have got to seen him more than that one weekend. Oh man he was something. God bless him. I'm sure he's in heaven teaching all the Angels how to play. special man

My take away from this clip is Moe’s watch simple action with the face of the watch squaring up to the target. He never wears the watch during the full swing. To me my interpretation is to key on the face of the left wrist towards the target. My consistency has improved dramatically.

Im right hand dominant. My short chipping around the green improved when I gripped firmly with my left hand, then pushed down with my right hand, kinda like I was trying to pull the club out of my left hand. This eliminated a good 50% of the chunk and tops of short finesse chipping. I feel this is because it gave a very consistent distance to the club head.

I always choked up on my golf clubs until I got older and my coaches insisted that I quit. I guess I didn't have the confidence to tell them to take a hike. Moe went his own way, and golf was such a natural act for him. The more mechanical I made the game, the less fun I had until I finally quit for over 20 years. I wish I had been exposed to him while I was still young.

I've recently switched to more of a "choked" down hand position. I don't know why but having my hands closer to the end of the grip nearest the shaft gives me a more consistent shot. Not hitting as far but definitely more consistent.

He never released the club face at impact. He never flipped his wrists. He finished the same way he started. Ive studied his swing alot and it makes perfect sense and he was spectacular at execution. I wish he would have played more competitive golf on the tour, but i guess that wasn't his passion. The man just loved to hit pure and perfect golf shots. His dad would drive him 10 miles at night to a driving range and watch him hit lasers for hours into the night. He once hit 1500 golf balls in 6 hours during a teaching institution session with pros. After the session, not one ball was further than 30 feet from where he hit the first ball and he was hitting a 5 iron, so thats pretty impressive. He used the same tee for 6 years until his friend broke it. He was giving an interview and he was talking about hitting fairways and the interviewer asked him how many he had hit, he said he had lost count because he hadnt missed one in over 6 years.😂😂WOW. He wasn't joking and i guarantee you he was telling the truth. You can argue all you want on how much better todays golfers are or even golfers back then were than Moe, but if you ever take time to watch him, I pretty sure you'll come away scratching your head wondering how you just watched the greatest golfer ever and his name isn't Tiger or Jack.

He had autism. But he would Coach ppl for a bottle of Coke.
That's what ruined his teeth.

On the pga tour other pros took the mickey out of him for giving spectators free yet he still won. Pga told him he couldn't do that, so he left.

Even Tiger said he was the purest striker of the ball.

On the Titleist testing station he is the only guy to ever hit 2 consecutive hits without any side spin.

Never condemn a guys until you know more about him.

I notice with a lot of his videos they hardly show his shots. Camera is only on him.
