The downfall was caused by teaching wrong basketball. They were taught to neglect their teammates and not play team basketball. This was absolutely infuriating to watch. Not because of the antics of the Newmans, but because of the repetition of the same points over and over again. We get it. She started playing varsity basketball at age 8 in 3rd grade and that's really young and she was super highly marketed.
