Hey Nathan, how are you! Good to watch another video of yours. You've been very helpful. I subscribed to you on my other account. But I can't access it @ the moment. You're videos been very helpful. Having trouble with my 2010 328i xDrive BMW. Misfiring on 4 cylinders. But I replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils. But brought the car to Burdick BMW to fix 2 recalls. And now its running like crap.

Great video. Question? If you only have misfire in cylinder 3 and 5 could that also be from the vanos?

Had a misfire with my 2002 X5 3.0 M54. It threw 3 misfire codes. I changed all six coils and plugs. Ran good for about 30 miles then it started misfiring WORSE. The vehicle threw ten codes! I did go with cheaper plugs. It had the double platinum NGK, four electrode plugs and I replaced them with cheaper Autolite one electrode plugs. Do you think that the cheap plugs are my problem or should I look at the disa?

In my case it was the wiring harness one of the wires were broken and was causing misfire in cylinder 4, I'm still not sure if I have to replace the wiring harness or just fix the wire.

Hello Nate. I just bought a 1999 Bmw 328i. I am getting a misfire in cylinders 2, 3, 6. I checked the coils and swapped them and the problem does not follow. It also makes a ticking sound until its warmed up. What could cause this? Spark plugs and ground wires were just replaced as well.

I only get a misfire on Cyl 3 during high RPMs when I really push the car. Does that have to do with the spark plug gap? I have an e60 M5.

hi Nathan's i have bmw 325i 2000 ihave cold star mis fire .I check no air leak but when i disconnect maf sensor the car work good and sens cold start misfire started i had problem with transmission not shifting good with out safe mode .

Hey all, I have an issue with a bmw z3 M54 2.2i. It keeps coming up with bank lean codes and misfires. Both banks and single banks, random misfires, but diagnostic says cylinder 5 is troublesome. No obvious vac leaks anywhere... fault has been getting more frequent, although the car hasn’t run much in the last six months... any thoughts??? Thanks.

My m54 (02 X5 3.0i)
Misfires when I go over 4500rpms throws p1353 than I use my ob2 scanner to erase the code than it runs fine afterwards

Try to get a polarized filter for a camera. Since you do a lot of outside videos it'll help greatly. Great job so far on everything.

Just a thought, when doing the voice over thing take it a little bit slower with the video on each thing your showing, instead of moving between items so quickly. (It could just be that I'm too old to be able to keep up!) The video was very clear with the new camera... What is up with having a mouse nest in the motor??? Is that just a parts car? Yikes, what codes are set when a mouse nest starts to burn when the motor gets hot ?!?
