As an English learner, who lives in a non-English speaking country, I can say that speaking is the most challenging part for me. It's really hard to be relaxed and just go with the flow and speak. I have this fear that in the middle of the sentence I will forget a certain word and will freeze panicking. Maybe that has something with the fact that I am a self-conscious person in my everyday life. Nevertheless, I started an English-speaking job and now I try to overcome my fears and see it as an opportunity to become better at the language. After all, the best way to learn something is to leave your comfort zone and practising it, not being afraid of your mistakes.

I completely agree that we don't have to stick to the idea of "talking only with native speakers" to improve our English. Just like you said, everyone has their own strengths and actually, I learnt good phrases and vocabulary from non native speakers. I hear them or read them and then I look them up and once I make sure they're correct, I start using them :)
Thank you! 🌹

🇧🇷 Steff, I just want you to know that your free YouTube content became my television a few years ago. I don't know how, but your way of speaking was pretty understandable. Now I'm pretty confident, I can even using English at work. Thanks for showing your face and sharing your ideas! 🥰🥰
