About Baruch: R. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L'amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew).

Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was in the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel.

how majestic is the first chapter even on a purely literary level it surpasses all human literature, one thinks just now of Christ's own masterpiece of both expression and revelation in front of Pilate:
"FOR THIS REASON I WAS BORN AND FOR THIS CAUSE I CAME INTO THE WORLD, TO TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH. EVERY ONE WHO BELONGS TO THE TRUTH, HEARS MY VOICE." Amazingly these majestic words did not stop Pilate on the spot with pure awe.
