In just this opening passage, we learn much about the divinity and superiority of Jesus and how His story began in the Old Testament (Tanakh) and is grounded in the Torah.

I had fallen into the Torah movement for a few months. Looking back I can’t believe I fell for it. Your videos helped me get back on track. Thank God my eyes have been opened to this deception. One of the problems with this movement is that they say you can’t add or take away from the mosaic law..yet they literally can’t do what the mosaic law says such as how exactly to celebrate the feasts with sacrifice and then about circumcision, chosen place of worship by God.. and how they can’t worship God any other way then what was prescribed, but they do not follow it exactly, they just do the best they can. Of all these things that are in the law and they can’t practice these things then they are taking away from the law so either way they are breaking it in my view. And another problem is it shifts your focus from Jesus to trying to keep the commands, at least that was the case for me. Now I have my focus back on Jesus. Thank you Lord! ♥️

This segment was exactly what I needed. I've been studying Hebrews in one Bible and studying the OT in another Bible. Hebrews is written differently than most of the NT, and sometimes confused me a little. This correlation that you have described from Hebrews to the OT explains a lot. Many false Christs come to teach Christians to keep the law of Moses.

Those who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; they have fallen away from grace.

These principles are very hard to understand but form the basis for our beliefs. R L Solberg states @15:29 “Think about what a dramatic change this would have been for Jewish followers of Jesus.” Yes and WOW!!!
