I studied IB for my primary education, and then switched to Cambridge for my lower secondary studies ... So far in my opinion I do have an advantage in terms of Higher studies .

For CBSE Students shifting to IGCSE is tough and it's level is not a bit advance it's totally different but for lB and ICSE students it will be easy and rest depends on the student

I was a teacher working under MOE, Seychelles Island.
O level is comparatively easier than 10th CBSE.
As level is also ok for an average student.
But A level is somewhat difficult than CBSE 12.
I am talking about physics, chemistry & Maths

For an average student, who completed gr9 Cbse, need only 2 to 3 months preparation for IGCSE O level exam.(With proper text books and practising past papers).

Hey man, I'm almost in the exact situation as you right now. I live in India, and hope to do my undergraduate abroad. So it'd be better if I take the IGCSE syllabus right. I'm in 11th grade currently (not started). I read a few articles on Quora recommending you to not change your syllabus after 10th, because it's a bit too late and you'll have to spend most of your effort on getting used to the new syllabus, and won't be able to get the optimal grades. Also in the video you mentioned IGCSE is more advanced then CBSE, can you elaborate on it a bit more for me please. Is IGCSE also harder then CBSE? Thank you.

I have always had 90+ percent marks, is that enough for me to get into IGCSE? Also how tough is the entrance exam?

Hi.. good attempt and good luck. Do u think IGCSE is better than CBSE for a child who is more imaginative, intelligent, likes to do things in her own ways, more interested into drama, singing, instruments, sports etc? equally good in studies. I have my child enrolled in one of the best cbse schools in grade 1 but i think she is a misfit there. should we shift her to igcse? fees is not a concern and we are not too keen on IIT/Jee etc. but there is no plan to send abroad either. but its entirely on her to decide later. Let me know your thoughts?
